Welcome to Freshers Fest 2008
Freshers Fest is the essential way to settle in and make new friends at University! It is a specific entertainment package designed for you to get the most out of your first weeks in Birmingham and have a great and safe time doing it!
The Freshers Fest offers not only a package deal into 7 of the best student events in the City, but also a range of non-club entertainments so you can relax and get to know your new Hall mates. In addition to this, there are a number of club events throughout the first term for you to use as additional bonuses! Please see the events pages for an individual listing of entertainment on this year’s Freshers Fest.
Fresher Fest takes in 7 club events across the first few weeks of term – a time when these nights are totally sold out. All these clubs feature excellent entertainment and offer the best value for money in town, but most importantly you will receive priority entry and guaranteed admission, despite it being the busiest time of year! You will even be taken there by coach to a pre bar (dependant on Residence and event), joining a number of other Halls to give you even more opportunity to socialise and meet people from other Halls too!
THIS YEAR THE FRESHERS FEST PACKAGE INCLUDES:
- Q jump admission into 7 of Birmingham’s best student events
- Non club activities (including comedy show, bowling, cinema, and health spa day)
- Coach transport to events and pre socials (depending on your hall)
- Bonus events through the first term
- A hall specific Fresher Fest t shirt. Wear it with pride!
